IN THE COMMUNITY

Neighbour-to-Neighbour

"I still cannot believe the bathroom is dry walled." In the space of three hours, coffee and snacks included... Ed got new walls after nine years without them...thanks to great neighbours!

A new seniors' community garden.

Whether it's a small job or a brand new community garden, Neighbour-to-Neighbour got the job done. This garden was a wonderful new amenity designed for seniors.

It's that simple.

Neighbours gather for a work day, share the load and celebrate a job well done once the work is done!

Small things make a big difference. Anne's new deck and ramp were ready for winter when a local church group answered our call.

Neighbours come in all forms in connected neighbourhoods. Local business A & A Paving cleared ground for our  garden project.

Everyone likes to and can help, given the opportunity. Neighbour-to-Neighbour helped make the connection. Many hands make less work with more fun!

NEIGHBOUR-TO-NEIGHBOUR

Volunteers

Neighbour-to-Neighbour volunteers are hands-on volunteers who help do the physical work associated with home repairs & outdoor projects. Event & fundraising volunteers help us to organize and host fundraisers and events and events and assist in pre-event planning as well as work during the events themselves.

Since April 1 2015, volunteers have logged over 440 hours working on events, Neighbour-to-Neighbour projects, and various other activities. An additional 735 volunteer hours were contributed to program coordination & administration.

Thank You. We couldn't do it without you!
